DC Calls Upon The People For Larger Participation For Maximum Benefits

District Administration Jalandhar has decided to Organise the ” Suvidha Camps” at district headquarter as well as Sub Division level on October 28th and 29th to facilitate the people to attain maximum benefits of welfare schemes launched by the Punjab Government.

Deputy commissioner Jalandhar Mr. Ghanshyam Thori said that in Suvidha Camps people can visit for assistance in 5 Marla plots given to landless citizens , Pension Scheme (Old Age, Widow, Dependent etc. Schemes), Loans from SC/BC Corporations / Bank Finco for repair of house, filling of forms regarding bus pass, pending mutation cases, MNREGA job card, waiver certificate of power arrears up to two kilowatt capacity , pending CLU cases / maps etc.
Instructing the departments concerned with the aforesaid schemes, Deputy commissioner said that ” they must ensure that to aware the people about Suvidha Camps and services to be provided there so that no eligible beneficiary could be deprived of the facilities being provided by the Punjab Government”.
He appealed to the beneficiaries to avail maximum benefits of Suvidha Camps as it would be a one stop solution to the various grievances of the common man.
Prominent amongst others who were present on the occasion included Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Mr. Jaspreet Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Urban Development) Mr. Himanshu Jain, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Mr. Amarjit Bains, SDM Jalandhar-1 Mr. Harpreet Singh Atwal, SDM Jalandhar-2 Mr. Balbir Raj Singh, SDM Shahkot Mr. Lal Vishwas, SDM Nakodar Madam Poonam Singh, Assistant Commissioner (General) Mr. Hardeep Singh Assistant Commissioner (Under Training) Mr. Ojasvi Alankar besides heads of other departments were present.
