Around 300 NSS volunteers along with programme officers of Panjab University during its 5th Day of the ongoing seven days NSS camp paid a visit to the one of the adopted village Kishangarh with the facilitation of programme officers including Dr. Naveen Kumar, Dr. Vivek Kumar, Dr. Shankar Sehgal, and Dr. Amita Verma. With a view to promote Swachta and Jal Shakti Abhiyan, nukar natak was demonstrated at various important sites of the village so as to spread the message of swachta and about its importance.

A rally to make residents aware and realize the importance of Swachta and Jal Shakti was organized that initiated from Community Centre of the village and proceeded towards in almost all important streets of the village and finally concluded back at the community centre. Afterwards, a cleanliness drive was organized in the vicinity of the village.
The councillor of the area Ms. Suman Amit Sharma and her team including Sonu Sharma, staff of Municipal Corporation, and the number of women form the village appreciated the efforts of NSS team and joined for the rally till the end of the program. An elaborative arrangements in terms of security personnel, refreshments and others were facilitated by the Councillor and her team. Afterwards, volunteers participated in the sports competitions organized at University Main Ground facilitated with the help of Dr. Anuj Kumar and Dr. Simran Preet.
