Chief Minister Extends Greetings on World Water Day

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav extended his best wishes to all state residents on World Water Day. Taking to the social media platform ‘X,’ he urged everyone to take a pledge for water conservation.
Dr. Yadav emphasized that our future is secure only with water. It is a priceless gift of nature, and its conservation and enhancement are our collective responsibility. He called upon people to unite in safeguarding water resources and take steps toward a prosperous future. The Chief Minister also appealed to the citizens to remain vigilant about saving water and adopt all possible measures for water conservation.
World Water Day is observed every year on March 22 to highlight the severity of the water crisis and raise awareness about its conservation. He also announced that the Madhya Pradesh government will launch the ‘Jal Ganga Samvardhan Abhiyan’ (Water Conservation and Augmentation Campaign) from March 30 this year. This initiative, aimed at increasing public participation in water conservation and constructing more water structures, will run continuously for 90 days until June 30, 2025. Several programs will be organized during this period to promote water conservation.
