SAD to release party manifesto on February 15

The Shiromani Akali Dal has asked Election Commission of India (ECI) to take action against Delhi CM and Aam Admi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal and his party for electoral fraud committed on ECI in three days or else party will move court seeking action in the matter.

Addressing a press conference at party head office here today, Harcharan Bains Principal Advisor of SAD President said that AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal has released a video urging Akali supporters and voters to vote for AAP instead of their own party in the present elections.
He said that before releasing this video a formal approval of ECI was mandatory. He said that in a shocking action of AAP, it had sent a different video for approval to ECI and released a different version which is a direct fraud with ECI itself. He said that action should be taken against the party and its candidates and as per constitutional provisions party should be derecognized and its candidates should be barred from contesting elections for a period of six years.
He said that as the fraud has been committed with ECI itself, it has ample proof to take action. He said that it ECI fails to take action, Akali Dal will move court and seek action as it is the aggrieved party in the matter.
Mr. Bains also disclosed that party will release its manifesto on February 15 at party head office in Chandigarh. He said that party President Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal and other senior leaders will release manifest.
