Tantya Mama’s martyrdom will inspire patriotism and service to the poor: CM Shri Chouhan

Chief Minister Shri Shiv raj Singh Chouhan has said that the Balidan Divas of Tantya Mama will be observed with reverence on December 4. A programme will also be organized in his memory on this day. This will keep his memories alive and we will get inspiration for patriotism and service to the poor, many such measures will be taken. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan will visit Patalpani in Indore district to pay tributes to him on December 4.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has said that we all are celebrating the 75th year of Independence. Many revolutionaries have laid down their precious lives for freedom. They have undergone much suffering and torture. They put the noose around their neck. Similarly, the immortal revolutionary, martyr Tantya Mama had blown the conch of revolution so that the poor tribals do not get exploited and Mother India becomes free from the chains of slavery. The British trembled at the mention of his name. He was given the title of Robin Hood. Such an immortal revolutionary Tantya Mama was born on the soil of Madhya Pradesh in Khandwa district. His last rites were performed at Patalpani near Mhow in Indore district. December 4 is the Balidan Divas of Amar Shaheed Tantya Mama.
