Teachers and other staff of Mewat Model School will now be adjusted in Mewat cadre of Haryana Government
Chandigarh, November 20– Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has given a big gift to the teachers and other staff teaching in Mewat Model School. These schools which are run under the Mewat Development Board will now be run by the Education Department of Haryana Government. The teachers and other employees working in these schools will be adjusted against the vacant posts in the Mewat cadre of the Education Department. This decision of the Chief Minister has brought a big relief to the Mewat Model Schools.
Giving information in this regard, an official spokesperson said that the model schools running in Mewat were being run through the Mewat Development Board. Recently, Chief Minister, Mr. Manohar Lal had announced in Mewat that soon these schools would be brought under the Education Department of Haryana Government. As per this announcement of the Chief Minister, any teacher working in these schools who fulfills eligibility as per the service rule of Haryana Government, will be adjusted against the posts of teachers lying vacant in Mewat cadre. Along with this, teachers and other staff engaged on contract will also be adjusted against contractual posts.

He said that the teachers working on the post of Librarian in Mewat Model Schools would be adjusted against the post of TGT Art. Apart from this, teachers with degrees from deemed universities will be kept on adhoc basis on the same post till the decision of the court.
He said that the teachers and other staff would get promotion as per the service rules fixed by the Education Department. Teachers of Mewat Model Schools will be able to get transferred within Mewat cadre only. Seniority will also be given to the teachers as per the service rule of Mewat cadre. Haryana Civil Service Rule will be applicable on all these employees. The employees working on contract will remain on contract.
