Chandigarh, September 8 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the primary objective of any government is to ensure that the people of the state should not face any kind of inconvenience. The Chief Minister said this while responding to the questions of media persons after a review meeting on the law and order situation at Haryana Police Headquarters, Panchkula on Thursday.
The Chief Minister said that a review meeting has been held with senior police officers regarding the law and order situation in the state. In this, various topics related to the law and order situation of the state were discussed. During the meeting the incidents of ransom demand through phone calls, ban on illegal weapons, complete ban on demand and supply of drugs etc. were also discussed. Directions have been given to control all these issues in a time bound manner.
The Chief Minister said that the infrastructure of the police has also been considered. Wherever police infrastructure is needed or lacking, it will be addressed immediately. Apart from this, the topic related to the recruitment of policemen was also discussed. The Chief Minister said that such review meetings of the Police Department are held from time to time.
Action will be taken against the killers of roadways driver
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that the murder of roadways driver in Sonipat was a very tragic incident. Action will be taken against the killers of the driver. Directions have been given by the department to provide assistance to the family of the driver. It has also been said to give a job to a member of the family of the deceased driver. Police will take stringent action against the accused.
