Chandigarh, October 7 – Haryana Governor, Sh. Bandaru Dattatraya greeted the people of the state on the occasion of Maharaja Agrasen Jayanti today. He paid tribute to the idol of Maharaja Agrasen by offering flowers.
He said that Maharaja Agrasen was a Yug Purush and a generous donor. Maharaja Agrasen had made a rule for the establishment of real socialism in his life as per which for those who were new to the city, were given a coin and a brick by every family of the city so that the family can settle in a better manner.

Sh. Dattatraya called upon the people to follow the life morals of Maharaja Agrasen in their lives and to come forward to help the poor, underprivileged, backward people as it will bring equality, unity and overall development in the society.
