Haryana Chief Minister is taking the principles of sants and great men to the people
Chandigarh, June 12-The thoughts of sants and great men have a deep influence on the Chief Minister of Haryana, Sh. Manohar Lal. He himself lives his life like a sant and a fakir. Inspired by the thoughts of sants and great men, the Chief Minister has introduced various schemes and programmes for the welfare of the people of the state through the Haryana government.
Giving a glimpse to this saintly and mystical nature, Sh. Manohar Lal has today renamed the Chief Minister’s residence as “Sant Kabir Kutir”. This is the first time in the history of the country that the Chief Minister’s residence of a state has been renamed after a sant.
Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal has devoted his life completely to social service. The Chief Minister likes to live a simple life. He is continuously working for social harmony and unity in the state. Like Sant Kabir Das ji, the Chief Minister does not believe in caste and creed. His aim is to strengthen the spirit of brotherhood and harmony in the society. Rising above caste and creed, he has taken the pledge of ‘Haryana Ek-Haryanavi Ek’. He said that one should forget discrimination of all caste and creed and take a pledge to love human beings.
Sh. Manohar Lal was doing social service before joining politics and even after joining politics, he is engaged in social service. He had decided in his childhood that he will dedicate his life not for himself or his family but for the society. With this thought, he joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and did social service as a pracharak there. He spends most of his time in the service of the state. The Chief Minister thinks day and night long for the welfare of the people of the state. He says that 2.5 crore Haryanvi are his family. He had also proved this by donating the family farming land that he inherited as the society comes before himself or the family.
