Chandigarh, June 24 :- – Union Ministry of Home Affairs has once again recognized the efforts of Haryana Police as ‘Haryana Police Investigation App’ has bagged the third position in ‘CCTNS Hackathon and Cyber Challenge 2022’ which was organized by National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) and CPF.
Sharing the information here today, the Haryana Police spokesperson informed that this app which focuses on providing investigating officers, a platform to lodge FIR digitally from any place has been designed by Ms. Nikita Gahlaut who is currently posted as SP Hansi.
This mobile app is packed with advanced features like an option to provide a copy of FIR to the victims, a voice-to-text typing facility, photographs uploading feature, geographical location capture, etc. The app will also help in better prosecution and conviction rates. In addition, it also helps each IO to keep a digital record of his case diaries for future reference.
It also provides a facility to upload all the documents on the spot which increases the transparency and trust of people in the Police.
DGP Haryana Sh. P.K. Agrawal has congratulated SP Hansi Ms. Gahlaut, and her entire team on bagging this recognition at the national level.
The Police team involved in the making of this app includes P/SI Nitin, HC Vipin, HC Surender and Constable Kuldeep.
