University Institute of Fashion Technology & Vocational Development in collaboration with Department of Anthropology, Department of Statistics and Institution Innovation Council, Panjab University, Chandigarh organized a three days’ workshop from 15-17 November on Data Analysis using Excel. Around 30 students and scholars attended this workshop. Theoretical inputs followed by practical sessions were undertaken during the workshop. Dr Anju Goyal, Chairperson, Department of Statistics and S. Harminder Singh, System administrator, Department of statistics undertook the workshop. Knowledge on types of data and methods used for testing of hypothesis, analysis, data representation etc. was covered in detail.
