Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC) Drass today organized an awareness program on the prohibition of child marriage.

The awareness program was held at Government High School Muradbagh Drass where the key speaker was chairman, TLSC Drass.
The program was attended by 140 students, teaching and non-teaching staff of the High School along with PLVS of TLSC Drass.
The program started with a welcome address by Muhammad Shafi Sagar in charge Principal High School Muradbagh. During the program, students threw light on the prohibition of child marriage.
While addressing the gathering, chairman TLSC Drass briefly explained the laws and punishments regarding child marriage, its consequences, its impact on society at large in addition physical and mental wellbeing of the child.
The program ended with a vote of thanks by Zahid Ahmed, teacher of High School Drass.
