Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (UHBVN) is striving to provide easy and accessible power supply to its consumers. In the era of information technology, various schemes have been implemented by the corporation to provide facilities to the consumers through digital medium while sitting at home. Taking a step in this direction, UHBVN has started the scheme of applying online for shifting of 33 kv, 11 kv, LT lines and distribution transformers for the convenience of the consumers.

Giving information, an official spokesperson of the Power Corporation said that the corporation has provided the facility of online registration to the consumers for transfer of lines through Atal Seva Kendra. This facility will come into effect from October 1. After this, hard copy or other correspondence will not be accepted for processing the application or acceptance etc. for transfer of lines.
He said that unnecessary paperwork would be avoided by applying online for transfer of power lines, which would save time and money of the consumers. Matters related to power line transfer will be resolved expeditiously.
