WHAT DOES THE ART OF SHARAD PURNIMA MEAN?

In simple words, art is a special quality. It means to think, understand and work exceptionally than normal. All the incarnations of Lord Vishnu were different and all have their own distinct characteristics. There are five arts in an ordinary man and eight arts in a superior man. The 2–16 arts are found in the enlightened yogi. Amavasya is believed to be the symbol of ignorance and the full moon full knowledge. According to the Upanishads, a person who has 16 arts is compared to God. Words such as Kumati, Sumati, Vikrit, Mudha, Kshit, Jagrat, Chaitanya, etc. The person who starts to come out of mind and brain can have 16 arts.

 

Sixteen Art Of The Moon:Amrit, Manada, Pushp, Virmana, Tushti, Dhriti, Shashni, Chandrika, Kanti, Jyotsna, Shree, Preeti, Angada. This is also called full moon. Just as there are 16 states of the Moon, similarly human mind also has different states. The mind has been considered similar to the moon because its state also keeps on decreasing and increasing. Leaving the person’s body is the first salvation to give up the temptation. Every person has a sense of his three conditions: – awake, dream and sleep. The sixteen arts mean complete cognitive knowledge. Man himself is nothing further than three parts. These 16 arts are secret in every person.
