To provide employment to unemployed youth near to their homes by imparting skill training as per requirement of industrial-cluster in their area.

Chandigarh, July 28 : Haryana Deputy Chief Minister, Sh. Dushyant Chautala directed the officers to prepare such a system so that unemployed youth can be provided employment according to the feasibility of their home by imparting right skill training as per requirement of industrial cluster in their area, this will save their time and expenditure on commuting to far of places for employment.

The Deputy Chief Minister, who also holds the portfolio of Labour and Employment Department, presided over the meeting with the concerned department officers here today. During the meeting he was informed about the coaching being given for Government jobs through Gradeup on the employment portal for which he issued necessary guidelines.

In the meeting, Commissioner of Haryana Employment Department, Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, Labour Commissioner, Sh. Pankaj Agarwal, Director General of Micro, Small and Medium Industries Department, Sh. Vikas Gupta, Director General of Skill Development and Industrial Training and Employment, Sh. PC Meena and other senior officers were present in the meeting.

Sh. Dushyant Chautala directed the officers to prepare such a database on the employment portal in coordination with all other Government Departments of the State so that the details of the vacant posts and youth working there on contract basis can be collected. According to the demand of private industries, modern technical skills will be imparted to the youth so that the right skill can be placed in the right Industries having same domain.

The Deputy Chief Minister also said that career counsellors with latest technology should also be appointed in all employment exchanges so that they can guide the registered youth for their employment. He directed the officers that such possibilities should also be explored so that the unemployed registered on the employment portal can get part-time jobs ranging from plumber to house-maid through the portal itself. He also directed the officers to review the private websites giving jobs and evaluate their updated technology and working style.
