Punjab Gau Sewa Commission Chairman hands over memorandum to CM on World Milk Day

Demands steps to be taken to improve the indigenous breeds of Cows and promote their milk & milk products through Verka

 

Chandigarh, June 1

Punjab Gau Sewa Commission Chairman Sachin Sharma today met with Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh and hands over a memorandum to promote indigenous breeds of cows and promote their milk products.

Calling it another white revolution, Mr. Sharma said that when we will provide milk and various milk products such as paneer, curd desi ghee, kheer like buffalo milK then the milk production and yield of indigenous cows would be manifold. He said that due to this farmers will also attract to upbringing these breeds and menace of stray cattle would be resolved. He said that Gaushalas will also have the source of income through the proper marketing and agencies like Verka should become partner in this endeavour.
