Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation has provided financial assistance of Rs.263.12 lakh to the beneficiaries till August, 2021- Dr. Banwari Lal

Chandigarh, September 10– Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation has provided financial assistance of Rs.263.12 lakh to 405 beneficiaries under various schemes during the current financial year till August, 2021, out of which Rs.25.43 lakh has been given as subsidy and Rs.12.32 lakh as margin money.

        Giving information in this regard, Haryana Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes Welfare Minister, Dr. Banwari Lal said that the corporation provides loans under various categories to the people belonging to scheduled castes so that they can establish their own business and pursue self-employment. These categories include agriculture and allied sector, industrial sector, trade and business sector and self-employed sector. Apart from this, financial assistance is also being provided to them under the schemes implemented with the help of National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation.

        He said that loans worth Rs 130.2 lakh have been made available to 231 beneficiaries under agriculture and allied sector for dairy farming, sheep rearing, pig farming.

        Similarly, an amount of Rs 114.92 lakh has been provided to 144 beneficiaries under trade and business sector.

        He said that under the professional and self-employment sector, an amount of Rs 50,000 was provided to 1 beneficiary.

       He said that under the Small Business Scheme with the help of National Scheduled Finance and Development Corporation, Rs 1.2 lakh was released to two beneficiaries during this period.

        The Minister informed that under the schemes implemented with the help of National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation, Rs 8.8 lakh was released to 10 beneficiaries during this period.
