UTI (urinary tract infection) is the second most prevalent illness in the body, and women are more likely to have it. According to experts, 1 in every 2 women has a lifetime chance of acquiring it at least once, compared to 1 in every 10 males. The symptoms of a urinary tract infection differ depending on whether it affects your kidney, bladder, ureters, or urethra. You may feel the need to pee or have pain when passing urine if you have a bladder infection.
Things to keep in mind:
– Loose cotton underwear and clothes are preferable.
– Peeing after a sexual encounter is usually a good practice to keep in order to avoid UTI.

Experts recommend the following Ayurvedic therapies for UTI patients:
Tandulodaka (rice water): It aids in the treatment of UTI symptoms such as discharge, backache, itching, and stomach pain.
Here’s how you can make it.
– Take 10 grams of rice (1 bowl) and wash it once.
– Now pour in 60–80 mL of water and seal it in a mud pot or stainless steel bowl for 2–6 hours.
– Next, macerate the rice in the water for 2–3 minutes before straining and using.
– You may drink it at any time of day.
– This rice water can be kept in the refrigerator for 6-8 hours. It’s better to create new rice water on a daily basis.
Dhanyak Hima: Ayurveda’s most cooling drink
Here’s how to create this cooling Ayurvedic beverage:
1. Take one part coriander seeds, crushed.
2. Pour in six parts water.
3. Cover it for the night or for 8 hours.
4. The next morning, filter and combine with a little amount of rock sugar, then consume on an empty stomach.
Amla Juice (Indian Gooseberry)
It works like a miracle if you drink 20-25 of it every day since it is high in Vitamin C, which boosts immunity.
– Vetiver water, mint water, fennel water, coconut water, overnight soaked raisins, and sabja seeds are hydrating and cooling in nature, and aid to relieve the burning feeling experienced by all patients during UTI.
