A 5-day teacher training program under SAMAGRA Shiksha Scheme concluded on Friday at Conference Hall, Dak Bungalow, Padum Zanskar.

The teacher training under SAMAGRA Shiksha Scheme was organized by Zonal Education Officer Zanskar regarding National Education Policy. It was started on March 28 and concluded on April 01 at the Conference Hall.
Zonal Education Officer Zanskar, Chetan Konchok was the chief guest while Zonal Education Planning Officer (ZEPO) Zanskar, Tashi Gurmeth was the guest of honor.
Fifty teachers from different government schools of Zanskar subdivision participated in the training program.
Speaking on the occasion, the ZEO highlighted the role of teachers in achieving the goal of foundational literacy and numeracy through experiential, discovery, play and activity-based teaching-learning pedagogies.
The ZEPO stressed increasing enrolment in government schools in coordination with members of Village Panchayat.
The participants shared their experience of 5 days of training and presented a colorful cultural program as well. The event concluded with the National Anthem.
