Will not rest till justice is done in the case : YAD and SOI leadership

Youth Akali Dal and Students Organisation of India (SOI) today carried out candle light protests against killing of farmers by Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of state for Home Affairs Ajay Mishra.

Addressing the gathering on the occasion, YAD Spokesman and President of District unit Fatehgarh Sahib Sarbjit Singh Jhinder and Students Organisation of India President Robin Brar said it was shocking that BJP led governments were forcefully implementing their agenda without caring for democratic rights of citizens. They said that it was shocking to see that farmers who were holding peaceful protest at Lakhimpur Kheri against three hated farm laws were crushed under vehicles by the BJP leader and their family members.
The YAD and SOI leaders said the incident had once again reaffirmed thinking of scholars that Modi led Union government and state governments of the BJP wanted to implement their agenda and were ready to suppress the peaceful movement of farmers.
The leaders said the SAD was a party of farmers and as in the past it had always stood steadfastly with farmers in this testing time. They said that neither BJP nor any other will be allowed to crush farmers as per their wish.
Later these YAD and SAD activists marched towards Raj Bhawan official residence of Punjab Governor and were protesting in front of it till late night.
