CHANDIGARH
The number of Covid-19 cases in India has risen sharply for the second time in a year.
A severe heatwave has hit many sections of the country at the same time. Because of this, it is imperative that you pay special attention to the state of your health. In addition, having a strong immune system is essential.
Lemon Water:
It’s hard to beat a glass of warm lemon water in the morning to get your day started on the right foot. Your immune system will be strengthened as well as revitalized and hydrated as a result. That is, in fact, correct. Vitamin C, which is abundant in lemons, aids in the immune building.
Add the juice of half a lemon to a glass of warm water. Mix in a small amount of sea salt. Add half a teaspoon of chia seeds, which are high in fiber, for an extra dose of nutrition.
BEL SHARBAT
Wood apple, or bel, is a seasonal summer produce. A refreshing sharbat is highly advised to enjoy when the temperature rises. What’s going on? Well, there are numerous health advantages to it. It prevents dehydration and alleviates the discomforts of a heat wave. There’s more to it. Fibre, vitamin C, and a slew of other immune-boosting elements abound in this superfood. Helps with anything from acne to wrinkles to grey hair.
Bel sharbat is made by slicing open a fruit and scooping out the pulp with a spoon. To make a cup of soaking water, place the leftover pulp in a cup and cover with water. Blend it into a juice now. To improve the flavor, pass it through a strainer with a dash of salt. Mint leaves can be added as a garnish.
You may also improve your immune system this summer by drinking this green juice. Mint leaves and amla are added to the bottle gourd to create this dish. Not to mention, it’s chock-full of health advantages! In addition, it promotes digestion, aids weight reduction, decreases inflammation, and improves the appearance of your skin.
Add the bottle gourd, 2-3 amlas, a small piece of ginger, and a few mint leaves to the blender and blend until smooth. To serve, pour into a glass, season with a pinch of rock salt, and then sip. Make sure the bottle gourd isn’t bitter before beginning the juice preparation. Throw it away if it’s bitter.
Lemon Juice and Amla:
Isn’t this a well-known traditional immune-boosting beverage? Using a blender or food processor, combine 2-3 amla, 12 inch fresh turmeric, 12 inch fresh ginger, and 2-3 peppercorns with half a cup of water. Pour the drink through a strainer into a glass and enjoy the many health advantages this immunity-boosting concoction has to offer.
Chaas
Summers in India are the best time to enjoy chaas, or buttermilk. This delicious drink, made with curd, is rich with helpful bacteria and keeps the gut healthy. It promotes digestion, hydrates you, and strengthens your immune system. The health benefits are amplified by the inclusion of fresh mint leaves.
The ingredients for mint chaas are simple: one cup of water, 14 teaspoons of ginger-and-chilli paste, and 12 cup of curd, all combined in a food processor or blender. Roasted cumin seeds can be added as a garnish.
