ACC appoints Mahabir Singh as Member (Technical) in the National Highways Authority
Chandigarh July 22- The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has appointed Mr. Mahabir Singh, Engineer-in-Chief, PWD (B&R) Department Haryana, as a Member (Technical) in the National Highways Authority of India for a period of three years.
Giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that Mr. Mahabir Singh has joined his duty today as Member (Technical) in the National Highways Authority of India. Mr. Mahabir Singh has had an illustrious career and also has vast experience and acumenship to execute the projects assigned to him.
He joined as Assistant Executive Engineer in the PWD (B&R) Department Haryana in 1987 and then was promoted as Engineer-in-Chief in 2019. He remained on deputation with Haryana State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation from August 2019 to July 21, 2020, and earned applause from the Higher Authorities for his sincerity and dedication.
Mr. Singh is a Civil Engineering graduate of IIT Roorkee. He possesses the vast experience to his credit and proficiency in the fields of planning, designing, and execution of Roads and Highways projects. He has also worked in various capacities in Haryana PWD (B&R) Department and on deputation with HSIIDC and NHAI and has dealt with important projects on Roads and Highways.
