AAP seriously opposing black laws from streets to Parliament

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab state president and MP Bhagwant Mann have strongly objected to Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar’s remarks calling the farmers ‘movement and farmers’ parliament, absurd. Bhagwant Mann said that the dictatorial spirit (jin) had infiltrated the central government leaders, who were making such frivolous and absurd statements; who themselves were trying in vain to prove others wrong by making such statements.
In a statement issued from the party headquarters here on Sunday, Bhagwant Mann said, “The reality is that the anti-agriculture black laws being imposed in the name of agrarian reform are nonsensical, which the farmers have not asked for.” Bhagwant Mann said that when the deadly laws enacted by the corporate houses were imposed on the annadatas, it was natural that there would be opposition from farmers and laborers along with all sections of the society dependent on agriculture. “If the government does not give up its attempt to ignore or suppress the protests against democratic values with dictatorial arrogance, then the farmers’ parliament or the agitation will not be confined to Delhi, but will spread across the country,” said Mann.
Bhagwant Mann further said that the Aam Aadmi Party has been adamant against these three agricultural laws since the drafting of these black laws, till date and would continue to do so till these laws are repealed. The AAP MP said that during the monsoon session, he (Mann) would not miss any opportunity to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, along with all the ruling parliamentarians and ministers; outside or inside the Parliament House.
Mann said that during the monsoon session, he had moved adjournment motion in Parliament for four consecutive times, so that the government could put aside all parliamentary business and discuss agriculture laws only and take right steps to repeal them through Parliament. “But the Modi government has become so stubborn that it does not see the farmers who have been in the agitation for eight months and their hundreds of sacrifices,” he added.
