Successful implementation of schemes within the district Appreciation of the staff at *

Animal Husbandry Department Punjab Director Dr. Gursharanjit Singh Bedi visited Fazilka district to review the progress of the department’s work . During this visit , he visited the Civil Animal Hospital at Fazilka of the district A meeting was held with all veterinary officers . He said prevention of lumpy skin disease by all staff of Fajilaka district, Fajilaka Appreciated for the relief work done during the floods in the district and for the vaccination campaign started in Abohar Sahar to save the helpless dogs of the constituency.
Meanwhile, he instructed the entire staff to use maximum number of sexed semen for artificial insemination of cows and buffaloes. He said that with sexed semen, the chances of female offspring being born are more than 90 percent, which will reduce the number of helpless animals besides getting more economic benefit to the animal breeders. He instructed to complete oral cavity vaccination on time.
On this occasion Dr. Rajeev Chhabra Deputy Director Animal Husbandry Department Fazilka assured to follow the instructions issued by the department and fulfill the annual targets.
On this occasion Dr. Anil Pathak Assistant Director, Dr. Gurcharan Singh Assistant Director and Dr. Mandeep Singh Senior Veterinary Officer Abohar was specially present.
