Chandigarh, January 9: Principal Secretary, Development and Panchayats Department, Sudhir Rajpal, directed the concerned officers to make arrangements to admit the children of labourers or poor families who are unable to go to school to government schools or nearby Anganwadi. He directed that for this a list of children who roam at different places on construction sites and in the cities should be made.

Rajpal was addressing officers of various departments in a review meeting of ongoing development works in Palwal district. He directed to distribute mid-day meals to students at their homes. Apart from this, he also reviewed the construction work of Hathin bypass and works related to acquiring land for the same. Similarly, he reviewed the work regarding generating IDs related to agricultural land and non-agricultural land under e-governance. was reviewed. He said that from next month, the work of e-Girdawari will be started under ‘Meri Fasal, Mera Byora’.

Rajpal said that to make the work of birth certificate more convenient, it should be sent by e-mail to the concerned family so that they do not have to come to the Saral Centre. He said that the work of laying sewer and drinking water supply lines should be expedited under the Amrut scheme. Under the Swamitva Yojana, the IDs of all the properties should be prepared and its map prepared and made available to the households in the villages. He directed to conduct Munadi in the village so that no dispute arises.
