Kargil, Dec 21, 2022 : As part of the ‘Good Governance Week’ being observed across Kargil district under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM), themed “Prashasan Gaon Ki Aur”, Horticulture Department in collaboration with various Departments today organized an awareness camp at Apati Sodh.
The program was attended by farmers of Apati, Barchey, Chutomail, Yourbaltak and Tumail.
The resource person of the Horticulture Department threw light on the importance of farming in the modern world and focused on adopting modern techniques.
He also discussed different welfare schemes of the department and the importance of establishing fruit orchards.
Resource person of Agriculture Department gave awareness about Ladakh Green House, PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi and requested beneficiaries for e-KYC and get benefits under the scheme. Officials of various departments like Revenue, Health, Rural, CDPO and Handloom attended the program,
