Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav- Walkathon by District Legal Services Authority, Barnala

As per the directions issued by the National Legal Services Authority, SAS Nagar, and under the able guidance of Sh. Kamaljit Lamba, Ld. District & Sessions Judge-Cum-Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Barnala, a PAN India campaign for bridging the gap between the institutions and the underprivileged by spreading legal awareness and ensuring delivery of
legal entitlement to eligible beneficiaries from 31 October to 13 November- 2022 has been launched by NALSA, New Delhi. Under this campaign, a Walkathon has been organized by District Legal Services Authority, Barnala from Court Complex, Barnala. Students from various Schools and Colleges, Panel Advocates, Para Legal volunteers have participated in the same. This
walkathon was flagged off by Sh. Kamaljit Lamba, Ld. Chairperson District Court Complex, Barnala. Sh. Devinder Kumar Gupta Ld. ADJ Barnala, Sh. Amit Thind Ld. Principal Judge Family Court, Barnala, Sh. Gurbir Singh Ld. Secretary, DLSA Barnala, Sh. Kapil Dev Singla Ld. ACJM Barnala, Ms. Sucheta Ashish Dev, Ld. CJM, Barnala, and other Judicial Officers were present there. Ld. Chairperson, DLSA Barnala informed that under this NALSA's PAN India Campaign, this Walkathon was organized to make citizens aware of various NALSA/PULSA Schemes.
Apart from this, seminars will be organized by DLSA Barnala from today till 13 November and all villages of District Barnala will be covered by teams of Panel Advocates and Para Legal Volunteers. Further publicity material will also be distributed to each and every person of District Barnala through Door to Door Campaign in coordination with Anganwadi works of District
Barnala.
In the end, Ld. Chairperson, DLSA Barnala Informed that to dispose of all types of Pre-Litigation and Pending cases, National Lok Adalat will be held on 12-11-2022 at District Courts Barnala.
