AAP Government always discriminated against Sikhs and Punjabis : Bains

The Shiromani Akali Dal today lashed out at Delhi CM and AAP Convener Arvind Kejriwal and said that before seeking a chance from Punjab and Punjabis, he should tell how many chances he gave to Punjabis and Sikhs.

Addressing a press conference at party head office here today, Mr. Harcharan Singh Bains Principal Advisor to SAD President Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal, said that Kejriwal has put up hoardings in whole state demanding one chance, but in Delhi he has discriminated against Punjabis and Sikhs. He said that there is no Sikh or Punjabi in Kejriwal Cabinet. Similarly neither there is any Sikh or Punjabi as Chairman, nor as Director of any board. He said even Chief Secretary of Delhi or Principal Secretary of Kejriwal is not Punjabi or Sikh. He said though there are number of Sikhs and Punjabis as IAS, IRS and other officers but Kejriwal did not appoint any one of them in his government.
He said that Kejriwal Government has even discriminated against Punjabi language and there is no option of Punjabi language in Government schools in Delhi from class I to 12th. He said that there are no enough teachers to teach Punjabi in schools and those working are contractual who are not regularized.
Mr. Bains also said that AAP always discourages Sikhs and Punjabis as political leaders and example of Sucha Singh Chottepur, Sukhpal Khaira, Kanwar Sandhu, HS Phoolka and several others are proof of it.
