Bhagwant Mann Government’s Efforts for arranging special camps for Mutations proving a boon for the people: Bram Shanker Jimpa

Special Camps organised on the instructions of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Maan to address the pendency of Mutations, are proving boon for the people of the state as the thousands of Mutations have been done on a single day, said Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister  Bram Shankar Jimpa,  here today.
     He was here to inspect the special camp organised at the District Administrative Complex, Mohali. He said that the outcome of the last camp organised on January 06 was amazing in which  as many as   31,500 cases of Mutations were done on a single day and we hope the report to be submitted in the evening would also be wonderful.
   He said that he has been continuously visiting the tehsils and Sub-tehsils and interacting with the people to know the feedback of the initiative. He said that the move launched by Punjab Chief Minister S.  Bhagwant Singh Mann is aimed at providing relief to the people of Punjab so that they do not have to bother in offices for their work. He appreciated the move of district administration to have entertained the cases of family divisions of land along with Mutations.
     The Cabinet Minister said that the Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan always thinks about people. Therefore, work is being done to make the Registration and Mutation process more simple. He told the officials that if there is any dispute regarding property issues, the issues should be resolved by sitting both the parties on a table. Moreover, the cases related to the Revenue Department can be settled even by setting up special revenue courts as a part of National Lok Adalat.
    The Revenue and Rehabilitation Minister further said that it will be strictly ensured in future that the mutation is entered in the Revenue Records within the stipulated period of 45 days. He said that the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan has given big relief to the people by recruiting new Patwaris whose posts had been lying vacant for a long time in the revenue department.
    Earlier, while taking stock of the camp at the district administration complex, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh said that these special camps have been set up to deliver the services of the Revenue Department to the people in a smooth manner so that the cases of pending mutations can be settled.
       MLA Kulwant Singh Mohali said that about 150 pending Mutations were registered at Mohali in the camp held on January 6.
    Kulwant Singh said that under the able leadership of Revenue Minister Bram Shankar Jimpa, the initiative is being taken in the direction of delivering the services of the Revenue Department to the people in a smooth manner. He has appealed to the people to take maximum advantage of the efforts of the government.
      While reviewing the camp, Chairperson of the District Planning Committee Mrs Prabhjot Kaur said that a very good initiative is being taken by the Punjab government in the form of these camps, in which every common citizen can be benefited. During the camp, people appreciated this initiative of the Punjab government.
     On this occasion Deputy Commissioner Ms. Ashika Jain, Additional Deputy Commissioner Viraj S Tidke and officials of various departments were present.
