Chief Minister launches ‘Amrit Sarovar Portal’ and ‘Grievance Redressal Mechanism Portal'

Review meeting regarding Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana, Property ID, Automatic Old Age Pension, Arms License and Corruption Eradication held

Officers should explore possibilities of making lakes in the districts adjoining NCR: Chief Minister

Chandigarh, June 2 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today launched ‘Amrit Sarovar Portal’ and ‘Grievance Redressal Mechanism Portal’. Updates of ponds being built in the state will be live on ‘Amrit Sarovar Portal’. A target has been set to prepare 1,650 ponds in Haryana. Apart from this, encroachment and other complaints regarding pond land can be uploaded on the Grievances Redressal Mechanism Portal.

After inaugurating the above two portals, the Chief Minister presided over the meeting of all the Deputy Commissioners and Divisional Commissioners across the state regarding Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana, Property ID, Automatic Old Age Pension, Arms License and Corruption Eradication.

        In the meeting, Haryana Chief Secretary, Sh. Sanjeev Kaushal, Financial Commissioner, Sh. PK Das, Additional Chief Secretary, Irrigation and Water Resources Department, Sh. Devender Singh, Additional Chief Secretary, Home, Sh. Rajeev Arora, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department, Sh. T.V.S.N Prasad, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. DS Dhesi, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh. V. Umashankar, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal, Deputy Principal Secretary, Smt. Ashima Brar, DGP,  Haryana Police, Sh. PK Agarwal and many senior officers were present.

        Sh. Manohar Lal directed the officers to make a special plan for the area having ‘Chauva’ (above water level area) in the state so that the crops of the farmers are not damaged and the water of ‘Chauva’ can be used for any other work. He also said that in the districts adjoining Delhi, the possibility of making lakes etc. in an area of 50-60 acres should also be explored so that along with recharging the land, tourism can also be promoted. The Chief Minister directed to get maximum number of ponds dug under MGNREGA.

        Describing the ‘Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana’ as the flagship programme of the government, the Chief Minister said that the State Government is determined to increase the income of the families having an annual income of less than Rs 1.80 lakh. A survey has been conducted to identify such families. He directed the officers that if the person who does not want to take advantage of any scheme in the melas organized under the said scheme, then they should try to find out the real reasons. The Deputy Commissioners should try to solve the problems by coordinating with the higher officials of the concerned bank to remove the bottlenecks while taking loans from banks. To give impetus to this scheme, he encouraged to prepare micro management plan at the district level.

        While reviewing the progress of the work of making property ID, the Chief Minister directed that wherever there is government land, department-wise report of property ID should be prepared so that any policy decision can be taken in future if needed. He directed to redress the grievances related to property ID by setting up camps in cities and towns.

        The Chief Minister was apprised that in future it will be necessary to take 3 days training before getting the Arms license and for this training centres will be set up in some districts of the state. Soon the process of online application for Arms license will be started. The Chief Minister directed the officers of the Home Department to make SOPs keeping in mind the law and order situation.

        The Chief Minister, while reviewing the new initiative ‘Automatic Old Age Pension’ started for the old age pension scheme, said that officers of the department will visit the person turning 60 years old and meet him and get the consent form signed for pension. With this, the elderly will not have to make rounds of the offices.

        Giving directions to expedite the action against corruption in the state, the Chief Minister said that officers are appointed to serve the society and strict action would be taken against those found involved in corruption.
