CM Chouhan plants coconut sapling on Tuesday

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted a coconut sapling in the premises of the Chief Minister’s residence on Tuesday. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan planted a coconut plant as the 71st sapling on the 68th day of the Sankalp Yatra to plant saplings. After this, the Chief Minister left for inspection of the construction site of 1000 bedded makeshift hospital to be built in Bina Refinery.
Pollution-free oxygenated Madhya Pradesh
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan started a one-year sapling plantation Sankalp Yatra of pollution-free, oxygenated Madhya Pradesh by planting a sapling of Gul-Bakavali in Amarkantak on February 19. In this yatra, the Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has planted saplings at Amarkantak, Hoshangabad, Bhopal, bamboo sapling at Jagatavallabhpur in West Bengal, undertaken plantations at Jabalpur, Panna, Manan Ashram in Bharuch in Gujarat, thus continuing his yatra uninterrupted while on a tour outside the state .
Planted 38 varieties in 68 days
Chief Minister Chouhan planted 38 varieties of saplings in this Sankalp Yatra including Gulbakavali, Sal, Mango, Parijat, Saptaparni, Chiku, Neem, Sita-Ashoka, Sheesham, Karanja, Putrajivak, Vatvriksha, Peepal, Kadam, Bamboo, Harshangar, Goolar, Belapatra, Banyan, Khirni, Almond, Rudraksh, Sandalwood, Coconut, Mahaneem, Chandni, Agar, Rubber, Gulmohar, Champa, Molashree, Sikandra, Ficus Panda, Munga, Guava, Amla and Paras-Peepal.
