CM Shri Chouhan expresses grief over death of CDS Shri Bipin Rawat and others in helicopter crash

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed deep grief over the untimely demise of country’s first CDS (Chief of Defense Staff) General Bipin Rawat, his wife and other army officers in a helicopter crash in Coonoor, Tamil Nadu.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the untimely demise of the Army Chief is an irreparable loss to the entire nation. Shri Chouhan said that in the death of Genral Bipin Rawat, India has lost a hero. He was the first Chief of Defense Staff General of the Indian Armed Forces.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that he felt deeply pain by the untimely sad demise of Shri Bipin Rawat and his wife Smt. Madhulika Singh Rawat. His wife was the daughter of Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed souls and strength to their families to bear this loss.
