COMFEST BEGINS IN RAJASTHAN

The Comfest was recently inaugurated in Rajasthan by the Governor Kalraj Mishra. It’s a four day event. It is organised by Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur. The event began on 14th of October, 2020and would come to an end on 18th October, 2020. The event requires students to display their technical, creative, literary, and management skills. Although, this event is organised offline every year, this year, during the pandemic, it has been organized digitally. Which means everything would take place online. This has been done to maintain the social distancing norms laid down by the government and to contain the spread of the virus.

THE HOSTING:

 

Comfest began with Governor Kalraj Mishra inaugurating the event with his presence. He praised the Computer Club of Jaipuria School for taking great efforts to make the hosting of the online event possible. He said a few words to inspire all the students. This was followed by Krishna Vandana, the auspicious way of starting every event.

The Chairman of the Jaipuria Group of Institutions, Shishir Jaipuria encouraged the students to depict the best of their ability in the event and strive for perfection. Shikha Banerjee, the Principal of Seth Anandram JaipuriaSchool, Kanpur also encouraged the students and motivated them to give their best.

After the great speeches, Ishan Gupta, the President of Comfest 2020 started with a great speech and told the audience how proud he was to be a part of JaipuriaComputer Club. He also praised his team for helping him successfully organise the event which he could never do alone.

Aarush Joy, a JCC memeber, further addressed the audience and enlightened people how Comfest had grown from a local to a national to an international fest. The Computer Club offered an E-Certificate to the Chief Guest and planted 101 trees in Bihar in his name.
