Constitution Day celebrated at Haryana Police headquarters

Chandigarh, November 26

Constitution Day was celebrated at the Haryana Police Headquarters on Thursday in the presence of Director General of Police, (DGP) Haryana, Manoj Yadava and other senior officers.

On this occasion, the DGP Manoj Yadava read out the Preamble of the Constitution of India in the presence of a large number of officers and staff members who attended the Constitution Day celebration ceremony.

Speaking on this occasion, the DGP said that it was on November 26, 1949, when our constitution was adopted and given to the nation. The day marks the beginning of a new era in the history of the Indian Republic. It is everyone’s responsibility to follow the constitution to maintain the integrity and sovereignty of the country, he added.

Among others present on this occasion included ADGP Crime Against Women Kala Ramchandran, IGP CM’s Flying Squad, Rajinder Kumar, DIG Law and Order Rakesh Arya, DIG Admin. Satender Gupta, SP IT Wasim Akram, SP Security Hamid Akhtar, Additional Director, Legal, Sukhbir Goyat and other officers and officials posted at police headquarters.
