District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting to review the status of estimation and tendering of works approved under flagship programme B2V-3.
The meeting was attended by RDD functionaries and various Executing agencies.
The DDC sought block wise details & updated figures with regard to the estimation, tendering, allotment and completion of B2V-3 works, besides enquired about issues if any hampering the execution of works.
Executive Engineer REW informed that against 732 works 585 have been tendered, 157 have been allotted, 15 completed physically, while 88 works are held up due to various reasons which includes corrigendum, non availability of land and other issues and works already executed.
The DDC directed the concerned to expand the scope of tenders floated twice beyond Panchayat level to the block level with the supporting documents from Gram Sabha. He constituted a district level Committee comprising ADDC, ACD, CPO and Ex En REW to review the cases of every dispute and corrigendum reason keeping in view the sanctity of the scheme for further course of action.
Further the DDC directed the concerned authorities and executing agencies to expedite the tendering and monitor the progress of allotted works on daily basis for timely completion.
Regarding the B2V-3 works pertaining to other departments, the DDC directed the concerned to expedite the estimation and tendering process of approved works on fast track basis for their timely completion. He directed for holding a meeting of these departments to sort out discrepancies.
The meeting was attended by CPO Doda, ACD Doda, SE PWD, All BDOs, ExEn REW, PHE besides other concerned.
