Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) cautions general public against claims of Fortune through Anti-Radiation Pack & other fraudulent materials

New Delhi, October 10. It has been come into light of the Department of Atomic Energy that some fraudsters are selling material with dubious names such as “Anti-Radiation Pack’, Rice-puller’ etc., claiming that they have radioactivity and are certified by BARC/DAE. These fraudsters are cheating many people after gaining large amount of money from them, claiming that it has power to bring in fortune,

The department in a press release has made it very clear that this is a ‘Hoax’, and BARC/DAE has no connection to whatsoever they claim.

Public shall bear in mind that possession of radioactive material without permission from Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) is illegal and punishable offence under Atomic Energy Act 1962.
