Brimming with numerous micronutrients, it offers a more healthful sweet alternative that’s ideal for the holiday season. Additionally, it goes well with almost any homemade Indian dessert, including “gulab jamun,” “laddoos,” “rasogulla,” “sandesh,” and “payasam.”
2. Dates: These dehydrated fruits add a deep, organic sweetness to your food while also providing a good amount of iron and other important minerals. You can finely cut dates and use them as a sweetener in your baked goods. Dates can also be the main element in date and nut laddoos. Blending dates with cashews, almonds, or pistachios is also a fantastic alternative. Dates can also be used to shakes. A quick, simple, and healthful dessert to cap off a festive meal is to load dates with almonds or coconut for an unusual sweet dish.
3. Fresh Fruits like Bananas: There are two advantages to using fresh fruits like bananas to your holiday confections.
