Government at your doorstep, CM Window to resolve public grievances

Chandigarh, September 10 – The CM Window, launched by the Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal to take up the grievances of the people, is playing an important role in resolving personal grievances as well as issues of public and social interest. Such issues were never addressed on any platform before and the public had given up hope of redressal of their complaints.

According to the O.S.D. to Chief Minister, Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal, who is monitoring the CM window from Chandigarh Headquarters said that this arrangement of the Chief Minister has emerged as Sarkaar Apke Dwaar (Government at your doorstep) for the people as grievances as old as 25 years have been disposed of through this platform. Many reputed newspapers have given it a good space in its editorial page. He said that for this initiative of the government, the complainants are expressing their thanks not only to the Chief Minister but also to the officers and employees associated with the CM Window through various social media platforms or by meeting in person and writing letters.

He said that in many cases raised through the CM window, recovery has also been made against the miscreants after getting an FIR registered. He said that a person named Baldev of Aurangabad village of Hodal tehsil of Palwal district had lodged a complaint regarding illegal mining in his village without seeking any permission from the Mining Department and brick-kilns in the area are being operated.

The police along with the complainant conducted a raid on April 2 and during the investigation it was found that the license of brick-kiln was canceled 5-6 years ago by the Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department. A case was registered after confiscating the JCB from the brick-kiln. The complaint was filed after taking Departmental action on the satisfaction of the complainant. Similarly, in another complaint related to Mining of Kherki village of Mahendragarh district, FIR was registered and action was taken. In another case, an issue of Forest Department was resolved through CM Window regarding tender of Rs 51 lakh for construction of road from village Kanderan to Bela Bhoj Nagal in Morni Hills of Panchkula district. Thereafter, remote area road was constructed for the convenience of local people. Apart from this, matters related to social security pension schemes were also resolved through this platform.
