Will Continue To Bring More Transparency and Efficacy in the Working of District Police-SSP Vikram Jeet Duggal
Patiala, September 23:
SSP Patiala Mr. Vikram Jeet Duggal today ordered transfer and posting of 99 long-standing police personnel posted in various police stations of Sub divisions Samana and Patran on administrative basis.
Divulging the details, Mr. Duggal said that these transfers have been effected to bring in more efficiency in the police functioning besides bringing more transparency. List includes one Sub Inspector besides 60 ASIs, 10 HCs and 28 Constables.
Mr. Duggal said that the decision to make such transfers was taken after noticing some difficulties in day to day work due to their long tenure at the same Police stations.
He said that out of these 46 police personnel of Samana sub division of district Patiala and 53 police personnel of sub division Patran were transferred to other sub divisions and police stations on administrative grounds. Earlier, a total of 77 police personnel from Rajpura and Ghanaur Sub Divisions were transferred.
He said that it had come to his notice that the over stay of some police personnel was causing hindrance in disposing problems of general public.
Mr. Duggal further said that Patiala Police was diligently performing its duty day and night during the Corona epidemic and was also dedicatedly fulfilling its commitment to keep the district crime free.
