– Bhagwant Mann attacks Channi, Congress and Badals in Majha

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab state president and MP Bhagwant Mann described Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi as ‘Ailaan Mantri’, stating that none of the daily announcements being made by the Channi government was being implemented. According to Mann, sand has not become cheaper and no mafia has been cracked down on, as they are all intertwined; so the sand and transport mafia sits on one side of Channi and the liquor and electricity mafia on the other.

Addressing the first election rally during the program, ‘Ik Mauka Kejriwal nu’ on the land of Majha on Thursday, Bhagwant Mann said, “For the last two to three months, new ‘Ailaan Mantri’ has been roaming around in Punjab; who only announce without any policy or intention. Firstly, we are not getting rid of Modi ji, now another has come. The maker of crores of assets says I am a common man.” Commenting on the announcements of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi in a poem, he said that nothing was coming out of the announcements of the Chief Minister as neither sand became cheaper, electricity became cheaper, transport mafia was not cracked down on and drug mafia did not go to jail.
Addressing a large gathering of people in Patti, Bhagwant Mann said that the Congress government had changed Captain (Ali Baba), but the 40 thieves were still in the government today; who have robbed Punjab and harassed its people. Accusing the Channi government of acting without planning, he said that Transport Minister Raja Warring had seized some buses to take photographs and inform the public; however, the court ordered the buses to be released, which shows that the Channi government has no intention or policy to take action against the transport mafia.
Accusing the Badal family of looting Punjab, Bhagwant Mann said that when Harsimrat Kaur Badal had filed her nomination papers for the Lok Sabha elections, she stated that she had 24 kg of gold. They built crores of lands, built luxury hotels; all these are made by looting from the education of the children of common people, medicines of the elderly, buses and sand mafia. He announced that this looting would be taken into account after the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government.
Referring to the desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib during the Badal government, Mann said, “They disrespected and got desecration of Guru Sahib. The other (Captain) took the oath of Sri Gutka Sahib and desecrated again. Where are the two now?” The AAP state president said that the Badals, BJP, Captain, the Congressmen and Channi & party, who were in power in Punjab and the country, had surpassed the British because the British had not plundered the country in 200 years; which these rulers plunder in one year. He said that the leaders are getting richer, but the people are getting poorer.
Bhagwant Mann further said that the people of Punjab were succeeding in going to other countries because the governments of other countries were cooperating in the development of the people. But the Punjab government is looting and beating the people. That is why the youth of Punjab are going to Canada, USA, Australia after doing IELTS.
Criticizing the BJP government, Bhagwant Mann said that 700 farmers of the country had lost their lives due to Narendra Modi’s arrogance because if the black farming laws had been repealed in time, the farmers would not have been martyred. He said that in the session of Parliament starting from November 29, he (Bhagwant Mann) would raise the voice of the farmers and will put the issues of passing of MSP Guarantee Bill on crops, paying homage to the farmers’ martyrs and apology from the BJP Minister and leaders to the farmers.
The AAP MP appealed to the people of Majha to press the ‘broom’ button to land a helicopter flying in the air; so that Punjab can be made a real Punjab again. Earlier, Laljit Singh Bhullar, Patti constituency in-charge welcomed Bhagwant Mann and said that the party has honored the land of Majha by blowing the trumpet of Punjab elections from Patti constituency and the people of Patti are eager to defeat Harminder Singh Gill of the Congress and Adesh Pratap Singh Kairon of Akali Dal Badal.
On the occasion, Swaran Singh Dhun, Dr Kashmir Singh Sohal, Ranjit Singh Cheema, Manjinder Singh Lalpura, Gurwinder Singh, Baljit Singh Khaira, Kiratpal Singh, Sher Singh Gill, Baljit Singh Sarpanch, Rajinder Singh Usman, Harpreet Singh Dhun, Gurdev Singh, Anju Verma, Harmanjit Singh Usman, Kanwarjit Singh and Dilbag along with all the office-bearers and volunteers were present.
