Chandigarh, March 9 – Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister, Sh. Anil Vij informed that a team of Food and Drug Administration Department sealed the shop of a chemist in Indri, Karnal for selling medicines without prescription and bill. Apart from this, one retail sale drugs license in Hisar zone has been canceled. Also, two retail sale drugs license and one wholesale drug license has been suspended in Hisar zone. In addition, three retail sale drugs license in Sirsa zone and 4 retail sale drugs license in Faridabad zone have been suspended.
Sharing information in this regard, an official spokesperson of the Food and Drug Administration Department said that the shop of M/s Rajesh Medical Hall near Civil Hospital in Indri, Karnal was sealed for selling medicines without cash memo and without prescription. Thus, this shop cannot sell medicines in future without giving cash memo and prescription.
He said that the retail sale drugs license of M/s Dadu Dayal Medical Hall of PTM Colony in Bhiwani under Hisar zone has been cancelled. Similarly, the wholesale drug license of M/s Divyanshi Lifecare of Katla Ramlila area under Hisar zone has been suspended for 7 days, M/s Shri Shilgar Medicine Centre, Bhiwani has been suspended for 10 days and M/s Changiia Medical Store, Gopalwas, Bhiwani has been suspended for 7 days.
Similarly, under Sirsa zone M/s Jakhar Medical Store of village Poharkan in Sirsa has been suspended for 7 days, M/s Saharan Medicos of village Biruwala Gudha of Sirsa has been suspended for 15 days and retail sale of drugs license to M/s Shree Ram Medicos of village Rodi, Sirsa has been suspended for 20 days.
The spokesperson said that under Faridabad Zone, M/s Vikram Medicos, Ballabgarh, Faridabad has been suspended for 3 days, M/s Welcome Medical Store, Sector-14, Faridabad has been suspended for 7 days, M/s Sharma Medical Hall, Tigaon, Faridabad has been suspended for 7 days and retail sale drugs license of M/s Riya Medicos of village Tigaon, Faridabad has been suspended for 7 days.
