Haryana Government closes schools for classes I to XII till April 30
Chandigarh, 16 April: Keeping in mind the rapidly growing cases of COVID-19, the Haryana Government has decided that schools will remain closed for students of classes I to XII till April 30, 2021. As per the directions issued by the School Education Department in this regard, this decision will be applicable to government schools as well as private schools.
As per directions issued by the Haryana Directorate of School Education, all the teachers will continue to come to the schools as before so that the exam results can be prepared and released on April 30 and the new academic session 2021-22 can be started from May 1.
The admission process and other administrative work will continue in the schools as before.
A letter has been sent to all the District Education Officers and other officers directing them to submit a report regarding the same to the Directorate.
