By performing yoga on a daily basis, one can get multiple health benefits, including weight loss, fresh mind, as well as glowing skin. Yoga and meditation also helps in boosting the immune system and health.
Many researchers and doctors researched that yoga is beneficial for getting healthy skin. Abhishek Otwal, a yoga expert, recommends the Trikonasana asana, as it opens up the lungs, chest and heart. - Clear complexion: Some yoga asanas with face and breathing exercises stimulate blood circulation, microcirculation and bring more oxygen to cells making the complexion look more balanced, even and radiant. The face looks clean and serene, and the eyes and features look softer and more beautiful.
- Wrinkle free skin: Yoga stimulates the production of collagen and elastin and by doing face yoga regularly the skin becomes toned, skin becomes tightened and there is an automatic reduction in wrinkles. The face looks smoother and less tired.
- Reduction in forehead lines: With regular stretching exercises and pushing the skin of the forehead upwards as per the exercise, the lines on the forehead can be considerably reduced.
- Stress reduction: Yoga reduces stress which is known to cause acne breaks, says researchers. Yoga flushes out toxins from the body. As a result, the body maintains proper blood circulation which in turn gives a rosy glow and blush on cheeks.
