Banana is healthy and energetic but it should be avoided at night during winter when the person is suffering from cough and cold or other respiratory diseases, as it can irritate when exposed to mucus or phlegm.
Here is the list of the people who should avoid eating bananas at night due to various health problems:
- Tooth problem:
People who have tooth problems should avoid taking bananas. The banana itself contains sugar and has a good quantity of it. Therefore, eating too much can cause dental problems and can pose a threat to your blood sugar levels.
- People suffering from Migraine:
If you often have migraine headaches, then you must limit your banana intake. If you are habitual of alcohol and you eat a banana with a glass of drink then you have a high chance of getting a migraine attack.
- People with latex allergy:
A person who is allergic to latex can also be harmed by eating bananas. Apart from this, they should limit eating avocado, kiwi and chestnuts as these ingredients can pose a threat to their health.
- Those who have Type 1 or type 2 diabetes:
Bananas contain natural sugar. So you should consume one banana a day or at intervals. But if you are prone to eating bananas and various foods that contain bananas in excess then it will raise your blood sugar level and will cause harm. Apart from this, excess sugar raises the threat of heart attack, causing severe headaches and sleep disorders.
- Asthma patients:
People battling with asthma illness should not include bananas in their diet as it can increase their problem and might get swelling and allergy which will deteriorate their health more.
- Suffering from cold and cough
A person having a cold or cough or viral infection should avoid eating bananas, especially at night as it can increase their infection. As bananas can increase irritation as opposed to mucus and phlegm.
