Administrative Secretary, Department of Tribal Affairs, Rehana Batul and Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Nazim Zai Khan flagged off a troop of students to Sanasar for a trekking expedition. ADC, Ashok Kumar; CPO, Dr. Kasturi Lal; DYSSO, Dharamveer Singh; CAO, Councilors, other officers were present on the occasion.The six day Trekking expedition camp is being held by the Department of Youth Services & Sports Ramban in which 48 students from six different education zones of the district Ramban participated.The Secretary said that such events would give an opportunity to students to understand their ability, patience and weakness to improve their skills which would help them in the future.While having a conversation with the participants, the DC suggested them to use this opportunity to shape their personality as a good sportsperson as well as responsible citizen with the abilities to lead the society.
He directed the DYSSO to provide adequate facilities to the participants besides imparting them trekking skills and Moral thoughts. DYSSO told that the Trekking camp will explore the areas of Sanasar during the six day trekking programme
