Feroz Khan visits Kargil Boys Hostel Channi Rama Jammu
KARGIL, DECEMBER 04, 2020: Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan on Wednesday visited the Kargil Boys Hostel Channi Rama Jammu to inspect the ongoing renovation works there.
During the course of the visit, the Assistant Engineer PWD Kargil Mansoor Hussain and other concerned officers briefed the CEC about the works being currently under progress at in the hostel and the physical and financial progress registered so far.
The CEC expressed his satisfaction on the pace and quality of work and passed on spot instructions to carry out the necessary water proofing and timely completion of the tiling work of the terrace of the hostel building.
The CEC also instructed the Assistant Engineer PWD to submit DPR/estimate for establishment of library block at the ground floor of the hostel.
The CEC also interacted with the Accounts Team of LAHDC Kargil comprising of Accountants headed by the Chief Controller of Finance (CCF) LAHDC, Kargil Showkat Ali Rather who are presently preparing and compiling the accounts of LAHDC Kargil and have been accommodated in two rooms in the hostel where they have been provided with all necessary facilities including Wi-Fi facility.
The CCF briefed the CEC that the team has as on date completed almost five years of accounts since 2004-2005.
The CEC instructed the CCF to add more trained accounts personnel to complete the accounts work at the earliest.
Warden Kargil Boys Hotel Jahangir Ahmad besides other concerned officers were also present on the occasion.
