Dates for online receipt/verification of Pre-Matric/Post-Matric/Merit cum Means Scholarship for students belonging to the notified Minority Communities for the year 2020-21 extended up to December 31, 2020
KARGIL DECEMBER 04 ,2020: The Director, Social/Tribal Welfare Department UT Ladakh has through a notice informed all the concerned that that the last date for receipt of Online Applications for Pre-matric/Post matric/Merit-cum Means Scholarships from the eligible students belonging to the six Centrally notified Minority Communities viz; Budhhist, Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Jain and Zoroastrian (Parsis) awarded to the students pursuing studies in India in a Government or recognized Private School/nstitute/College/University called for Vide their office Notification issued under endorsement No: DSWL/Scholarship/2020/720-34, dated: 14-08-2020 from the above notified minority communities for the year 2020-2021 on National Scholarship Portal (www.scholarships.gov.in) has been extended upto 31-12-2020.
Further, last date for 1st and 2nd verification of applications by concerned Nodal Officers has been extended upto 15-01-2021 and 31-01-2021 respectively.
The other terms and conditions contained in the Notice issued Vide No: DS WL/Scholarship/2020/720-34, dated: 14-08-2020 shall remain the same, reads the notice.
