In the state-level men’s table tennis (41-55 class) competition organized at Barnala under Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan, the table tennis team of Ferozepur has made the name of Ferozepur district bright by winning the gold medal. District Sports Officer Balwinder Singh informed that Ferozepur first defeated Amritsar and Mohali to make their place in the semi-finals.
After that, they entered the final match by defeating Jalandhar in the semi-final, and in the final, the player Lavkesh Sarma defeated Amit Oberoi to take a 1-0 lead, and player Munish Sharma defeated Manmeet Singh of Ludhiana made the lead 2-0. In the third match, player Rohit Sharma finished the match with 3-0 by defeating Ludhiana’s Gorav Upal.
