ADC (D) asks all concerned for arrangements well before time

In order to encourage the youth to enlist as soldiers, the district administration SAS Nagar will organize an army recruitment rally in Mohali from November 1.
During a meeting with concerned departments here, Additional Deputy Commissioner (D) Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal asked all the departments to chalk out a comprehensive plan for the recruitment, while District Bureau of Employment and Enterprises (DBEE) will be the nodal department from Civil Administration.
Calling on all out efforts from every department, Dr. Aggarwal said that our focus should be to disseminate the information in villages about the rally through Sarpanches and public announcement systems. He also directed the Education and Police Department to deploy dedicated staff for documentation verification of the candidates and adequate security arrangements should be made well before time.
Talking about COVID protocol, ADC (D) asked the Health Department to deploy teams for COVID testing at the end of the rally. He instructed the police department to activate their special cell to counter middlemen during the rally. He also asked C-Pyte to train youth for the rally.
On this occasion Colonel Sanjeev from Army Recruitment Office, Ludhiana, Deputy Director Employment Generation and Training SAS Nagar Mrs. Meenakshi Goyal, Manvir Singh DSP (Hq) and Dr. Jarnail Singh DEO (S) were also present.
