Following the guidelines of Punjab Governement, GNDU College Chungh organised a declamation competition in the college to commemorate the 400th birth anniversary of Shri Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. The students of the college radiated an infectious ethusiasms for the contest through participation. Over 30 students participated in the contest which made the competition a cut-throat one. The winners of the event were – Mehtab Singh of BA Sem third (first) Sunali Chopra of BSc Non Medical Sem third (second) and Ravideep Singh of BA Sem fifth (third). Mrs. Kinderjit Kaur, the principal of the college, admired the students for their participation and encouraged them to avail each and every opportunity that comes their way.

Thereafter, Dr. Gurinderjit Kaur spoke at great length about Guru Ji’s sacrifice that he made to protect the humanity. Also, She announced that prize distribution will be conducted at annual function of the college. On this occasion, the registrar of the college Mr. Gurcharanjit Singh warmly welcomed the new students to the college and asked them to work hard in their studies.The whole event was organized by Ms.Mandeep Kaur (Department of Chemistry).
